Is swiDOC a document management system (DMS)?

No, swiDOC is not a fully comprehensive DMS solution, but a specialised archiving solution. While a DMS encompasses the holistic management and processing of documents and operational data, we have focused on archiving. Through this focus, swiDOC offers a protected space for the secure, legally compliant and platform-independent long-term archiving of business documents.

Why do my clients need swiDOC?

A digital archive enables your clients to store and organise business documents electronically and access them quickly when needed. Given the steady increase in digital information and the growing requirements for the long-term storage of documents, a certified digital archive has become essential for businesses. swiDOC ensures efficient, secure and legally compliant document storage.

What subscription models do you offer for trustees?

swiDOC offers two different cooperation models for trustees. On the one hand, you can resell the software licence to your clients in return for a commission to enable them to carry out their own digital archiving (reseller model). On the other hand, swiDOC grants special trustee packages where trustees can add multiple clients via their own account and handle joint document management (client model).

Which accounting softwares are compatible?

From May 2023, swiDOC will be compatible with Bexio and enable automatic synchronisation of accounts receivable and accounts payable between the two platforms. Relevant accounting documents in your Bexio account are therefore simultaneously stored in the swiDOC digital archive, where they are kept in a legally compliant and deletion-proof manner.

We are continuously working on improving and expanding compatibility with other accounting software. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have special requirements for the integration of our archiving solution.
